What these are. Every three hours the LinkedIn browser scan types each active phrase into LinkedIn's own search, set to Past 24 hours and Latest, and reads every post it shows, just like searching LinkedIn by hand. The same phrases also go to the web search indexes in Settings as a backstop. The AI then reads each post in full and keeps the real return stories.
- Good leads counts the posts this phrase found that the team marked Good, Shortlisted or Partner. That is the number that matters.
- Phrases use LinkedIn's search language: quotes for an exact phrase, and
OR,AND,NOTand brackets, for example"returned to India" OR "relocated to India". A line without quotes is sent as one exact phrase. - Broad is fine:
"back to India"finds the trips and company posts too, and the AI drops them. A narrow phrase that matches nothing finds nobody. - A phrase that finds plenty but has 0 good after a week is noise. Switch it off.
